Fly From The Inside


The bright light of blind star in the end of tunnel…
And I’m striving to that light, I’m running…
…to my only shelter from the storm.
I’m running away from the silent port where
the waves of life became
too wild.
There, in port, I was unseen, alone and unheard.
So many people…
Have no things to do together.
Dreams and hopes. Possession.
Memories and smiles. Promises…
Where have you gone?
We talk about what’s happening, who’s doing what…
But everything has gone.
I won’t come back but maybe I’ll stay with you.
Don’t cry. I’ll be the light, I’ll be the pain,
I’ll be fire and ashes, winter and summer…
Far and near, short and endless, evil and angel,
Quick and awkward…
The eternal circle.

yeah i really wrote this poem, on my own how you said. i always write anything - poems, essays, lyrics :)

thanks a lot for ur nice attempt at poetry writing. indeed, i believe that if a poem is to carry a specific meaning no longer deserves to be called a poem. Meanings are chains and poems should never be chained. Poems should "be" and not "mean".
