Blogs for EC members. What do you think?

Your comments on the following would be useful. We are considering adding blogs to EnglishClub.com so that members can have their own blogs. Please leave your comments and ideas. Would you sign up for a blog? Do you have any experience of blogging? What do you think of the idea? Do you have any suggestions?

Already have two blogs for fun, but I would definitely visit other members' blogs and support them (who knows, I might change my mind and join the fun

). The idea sounds interesting. 8)

I don't know it sounds to need a lot of Bytes to have a blog for every sigle member here. Can you manage it Josef?

This sounds about right. How do you do it, Josef? Is there a new link for the blogs which will be connected to EC board? And every member can sign up for it? There isn't any requirements to sign up for the blog?

It's not a bad idea.
Although I have two blogs already, I wouldn't mind having another one. I'd blog in one site and paste the same info on the other sites. :D It would be like killing two birds with one stone.

I have too and I´d like to have one more.
I think is absoluty nessesary tha the blog include photos and a obligatory section related to the learning of ESL, I mean maybe a section of "How to spell.."
I´m wondering if with this section people should continuo participating in the Forum?

I think Red Rose would come back, finally she doesn´t talk about politic and religion

It depends of technical solutions and the rules of using that bloging.

So far I'm content with EC, though I dislike anything, that is called club. There have also been some annoying times, when server is down.. but until I don't know what causes those server shutowns. I have no reason to complain.. I would complain, if I would know, that it have been caused by Administrators lousy scripts, that he experimenting there. without any guilt-feelins..

Of course I would like too see those bloging extensions here. don't know, if I would use it since I have one blog already, where I have made only one entry.. so I hardly believe that I could treat this blog diffrent.. I'm always just far away from comp when get interesting thoughts that are worth to post..

I think Blog in EC is unsuitable with its image, there are many other websites which specialized on Blogs.

Blogs are a good idea. Some people hate it... They say it's a waste of time, since they prefer 'texts with content.'

However, blogs can be meaningful tools for us to practice English and express whatever we wanna say!

Even though I'm new to this site, I think the idea of adding BLOGS is a sort of fascinating idea! And, yeah, my personal experience towards blogging is somewhat quite limit. Nevertheless, I'm always open to learn new things.
