firstly it was a stroke of lightening that made me cook up my nickname... then I watched a movie it was titled "Tora! Tora! Tora!" - the japanese kamikaze call-sign and I must say it's close to reality! as far as 5 min ago I was blamed for insanity

Dear all.

Bambang is a common name here in Indonesia.

Our president's name is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

I am not related to our president at all.

The letter "a" in "Bambang" is pronounced like "a" in "car" instead of "a" in "cat"

To be honest, I'm intersested to give comments on your names based on Indonesian tongue.

First, Melek.

Rasheed wrote:

I suppose your name should be "malak" "ملاك أو ملك"
your name is very beautiful...

In Indonesia, your name would be "Malik" with the same meaning, "angel or king"

Second, Hardi.

It's a common name here.
But frankly speaking, when the first time I saw your name, I was imagining a hardy person or a stubborn one. Sorry if I am to be frank.

Third, Tora.

It's not commoan here, but one of our greatest movie stars nemed Tora Sudiro.

Fourth, Dixie.

It's not common here, but it sounds nice and catchy.
I like that name. Simple and cute.

Fifth, Rasheed.

It's common here, but we spell it "Rasyid"

Sixth, nightwise and sweets.

Absolutely not common here.
But nice and catchy.

Seventh, SanjaDz, Vinamilk, Edu.

Strange for Indonesians' tongue.

Lastly, Mamuta.

It sounds scary to us, or at least to me.

I'm surprised that this is common name. I thought that it's a troll's name, that u made up by you'r self, from word bang by adding Bam to beginning of it. But frankly, (not psychologically or maturely) speaking. It fits to you perfectly.
To format own posts, you often use huge red fonts. that bang into my eye. Even though they are sometimes, too often too flummery.

Dear Hardi.

If you someday come to Indonesia, make sure that you pronounce "bambang" correctly.

Don't pronounce it like "bang" in "big bang" or
"bang... bang... bang..." you dead or "don't bang the door."

Dear Hardi.

My nick has nothing to do with "troll" or "fishing".

For your information, frankly speaking, "bambang" is in top fifty here. Even our president's name is Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

Psychologically speaking, you are right saying that that name fits me. Thank you anyway.

By the way, what did you man by saying "flummery" in your post? Could you please elaborate it?

The meaning of Xkalibur.

Postby Bambang » Sat Jul 14, 2007 12:51 pm

Dear Melek.

Could you please explain how to pronounce "Malik and Melek" and the meaning of both and other differences between the two?

Thanks.

Dear my supernatural assistant, Xkalibur.

To be honest, when the first time I read your nick, I was laughing to death. Your nick is very strange to Indonesian names. It also sounds weird, dirty and full of pornography .

Here is the meaning of your nick based on Indonesian words.

"X" symbolizes "porn"

"kali" means "river"

"bur ( bubur)" means "porridge". "Bur (bubur)" also means something too late or useless or dirt.

Can you imagine???

To us, as Indonesians, your nick means:

The dirt from the porn rivers

Ha ha ha ha...

L o L

I'm sorry my friend, I can not control my laughter.
I'm laughing to death.

Dear my assistant, could you please tell me the story behind your name or at least its meaning so that I could control my laughter.

But frankly speaking, it's very easy for me to remember your nick.

Yours is one of the nicks that’s very familiar to me.

After you explain it, I might be able to analyze your nick based on my psychological and supernatural analysis.

Nothing stays behind it...Just another meaningless nickname. :)

I think I should register a new one here. :P :D
