Israeli Science proposes Time Machine

Post by Danyet »

A scientist in Haifa, Israel has a new theory on time travel. Until now science did not think it possible to travel back in time but finally, the new theory provides for Time Travel back into the past. The researchers suggest their model overcomes some of the questions, which, until now, scientists have not succeeded in solving.

Yes, I did. I said yeah, right because I think the idea is lunatic although I do admire their effort to make this impossible thing possible. And I loved this part,

"The machine is spacetime itself," Prof. Ori explains. "Today, if we were to create a time machine " an area with a warp like this in space that would enable time lines to close on themselves " it might enable future generations to return to visit our time. We, apparently, cannot return to previous ages because our predecessors did not create this infrastructure for us."

If this might come true, my cousin's idea of aliens would be correct. 8)

But you never know, though. Before we never thought we could fix eye problems. Now with the new technologies, we can do lasik to get the perfect vision back, for example. Haven't you read Doraemon, Dixie? We'd have all that things in two-thousand...something.

Personally, I do not think that time travel is possible.

My theory is that time is not a "thing", it does not exist, it is only a word we use to describe events in order of sequence. Therefore it is illogical to suggest that we could travel through something that does not exist.

I know too little about physics to debate what time is with you. Nonetheless, my theory is that time is a dimension, which we could measure. And if we could measure it, it does exist. Henceforth, time is a "thing," a thing that we can and cannot change. We cannot change the past, but we do make the present and change the future.

Could we stop it? I think If we could freeze whole cosmos it will be stopped. Maybe it actually stops after every while, but we couldn't notice it.. since it's not possible measure. It can measure only if it's stopped only in certain area. If we could stop it, then could we also rewind it?

You could stop it, if it existed. It has no more "existence" than the image in your mind has of the colour blue. :)

I don't know much about the researchs done for time machine but i want to talk about one of the difficult claims:world's resources don't enable the raw material. This is a big problem. Indeed it would be disadvantageous if there existed material for it.People except from scientists would use it and this would lead us into a big choas. Even the thought of time machine irritates me and Prof. Ori is blaberring

If we all started to use the solar power, would it help? :?
