I hated most (still hate) semolina porridge. But I still were agree to eat semolina cream, but usually I don't want anything it contains semolina. And I did not like also any food that have skin.. I mean the film or skin that come top of hot soup or milk, if it's cooling. I was so discussed when I heard there is actually a food, that are made by layers of semolina porridge and milk skin.. yuck!

I hated this. My mom often cooked it for dinner. The taste was beyond nasty to me; I always refused eat it. Luckily, my mom didn't force us to eat since she was little she was forced to eat this stupid vegetable. If she didn't finish it, my great-aunt would beat her.

I also disliked meat, but that's because there wasn't good meat that times(Soviet time). I don't like too much fat.. or it was some other several ways not good. And to get good sausage was really rare. Only chicken I usually liked.
So weird, there was so many animals in sovkhozes but no good meat.
My parents often forced me to eat, so if there was meat, I sometime did pretend that I really badly need to go drink watter, but actually I did spit meat out to sink. It would be easier to spit it to toilet, but parents were to suspicious about that.

Oh, yes..that reminds me.. hehe It's called ampalaya here in the Philippines. I also hated its bitter taste when I was a kiddo, but now, I do eat it as long as it's my mom who cooks it. There are actually alot of dishes one can make out of bitter-melon.Some don't even emphasize its undesirably bitter taste.LennyeTran wrote:I hated this. My mom often cooked it for dinner. Actually, it's a healthy food and is very common here, and a big no-no for kids...

Me, too. Now I can be able to eat it. My mom cooks it with eggs or stuff it with meat. And it's soooo delicious when she makes it into a vegetarian dish. It's strange how I hated it when I was little, but now I sometimes enjoy the bitter taste. Every time I eat it, I always appreciate the fact that my mom didn't use her power to make me eat it during my childhood, another reason to get used to the taste, methinks. :D

I like seafood Now. But I didn't like to eat seafood in childhood.LennyeTran wrote:Japanese cuisine is mainly made of seafood. Almost everything has seafood in it. That's why I find it very strange to see a person who doesn't like seafood is Japanese. He is, in fact, the first Japanese I've come across who doesn't like seafood.
I felt the taste was bitter and sour.
And I wasn't able to remove the bones from a fish well.
Sometimes one of pin bones stuck in my throat. I also didn't like it.

I didn't like black budding because of lard. Usually there was always pieces of lard inside. I still don't like lard. Fortunately lately they don't but so much lard into sausage. I think I did read somewhere that Sausage makers are in unfortunate because Estonians prefer meat products that doesn't contain much fat.. so they try to export. But I have nothing against of black budding, my mom did it some time when we used to farming.. The paste or dough(I don't know how should to call it) really did look horrifying pink before boiling I only don't like black budding sausage, because it's usually made of natural gut. Gut is hard to chew. Even worse is to prepare them.. Once we also did try to do sausage but failed since guts weren't good. It's not like that I don't want it eat because it's gut, Really I'm lazy to chew.
Radish I have ate, red one and white one. I can't say I liked. It was bitter.
