Hi every body, I would like to know your opinion about the last new in Cuba.......
Uyyyyy.... Since my father was born Fidel Castro was the president in Cuba, stepped down Tuesday morning as the president of Cuba after a long illness, ending one of the longest tenures as one of the most all-powerful communist heads of state in the world, handed over power temporarily to his brother, Raúl Castro...........
I hope your opinion, and have a nice day..... :D

I read somewhere that people generally get the kind of government that they deserve.

Re: Finish the cycle of Fidel
I consider Fidel Castro as an old man who has had quite a harsh life and finally he is retired. In his early 80s he still has a clear mind (for those who don't know what is an unclear mind for a person in his early eighties PM me... or ask uncle bambang :P ) to resign himself. That's a positive moment. Well, we'll live and see what will happen to Cuba.
Wind of changes has taken your direction I suppose

Cuba is a nice country! I know lots of people don't like Castro.. they have rights to think so, but I think he helped and well, as it is said above: Cuba needs new faces... even his brother will be up there I don't think it will be the same thing. Anyway. I really hope things go well there so that they can live OK as well as in other countries!!! Good Luck!!!!!
ps: I can't make a big opinion since I have missed 40 or more years of his government, hahahaha!

Like elder brother like younger brother.LearnSmart wrote:Finally he's out of power. Fidel Castro seamed to be an incurable disease for Latin America. Re: Finish the cycle of Fidel
Too political to say but I cannot help myself to express that how many countries we've seen turning communist and how many countries have turned democratic. Communism is a theory and not all theories work. I think their country would turn better if they practice democracy.Tora wrote:Can't wait to teach them democracy?
