Sorry, I don't know this expression as a saying or idiom. I may be ignorant but I only understand it literally: "remove the skin from the grapes"
Maybe someone else knows it in a more figurative sense?

The expression is "Peel me a grape". It is a comical command, meant to ask another person to perform a service such as an emperor of ancient Rome might desire. It's a joke.
