lift a finger

Postby Aikuzo » Sat Oct 18, 2008 5:30 am

Here's the dialogue

Gloria: Isn't it big? (showing her wedding ring)
Jean: It's gorgeous
Gloria: It's so heavy, I need a crane to lift my finger
Amanda: Well, baby, if he's any good at all, you'll never have to lift a finger again.
Gloria: I'm so glad I listened to you.

Does she implying - If he's that good , you'll never have to work again?
Pls correct any errors you see on my writings on: nouns, tenses :)

Yes, exactly.
