i need your help about report and news item writing. what is the differences between them. and please give any example..thank you

Maybe you could give examples of what you mean and then we could answer the question. The word "report" could mean anything - it could be a financial report, a police report on corruption in Wall Street, an air-crash investigation report, a doctor's report, a TV, radio or newspaper news report (the closest to and probably identical to "news item"), or any of a thousand other types of report. Please be specific. {-;

I am sorry because my question is not specific. In the last question what is the differences between report and news item I mean one of the kind of writing essay that is report and news. so my question, What is the different among them in kind of essay writing.thank so much for any members who reply and answer my question.
