Everyone knows that smoking is not good at all, though people keep doing it...
I think that "the more it's banned, the more it is wanted"

yeap dear Oriani. People are become addicted of smoking even to be fully aware of it's side effects, how much it is injurious for their life. one can not abandon this habit easily but it requires great efforts to get rid of it. we must be keep away from the bad company because mostly our friends are offered to smoking after prohibiting hundred of times.

In my case, I don't find it attractive at all. It is disgusting for me, though I like smelling the cigarette without being lit, you know what I mean? But no; it is not for me. By the way: long time no see, Sunny =)

May I puff a bit here in the corner of the room? This is only one I see some ashtrays inside. Oh, forgive my bad manners! Reindeer, a smoker from my fifteen.

Hello Reindeer,

I wonder, should someone smoke in the room where others declare their dusgust to smoking?
And after all, what you take for ashtrays are actually the ballot boxes. People gonna vote probably.
Best wishes,
melancrow, smoker from fourteen

Smoking is harmful, it's true. But what would you say if it's cultural habit for some nations?

{-: I'd say that the nation might somehow reconsider it's habits from time to time. Anyway, I don't think that smoking should be called 'cultural habit'. Or, in this case heavy drinking may be considered as part of culture to some nations either.
So brother, if you are a smoker, let me give you a piece of advice: stop fooling yourself - it's really a very bad habit, and highly addictive one.

To improve world culture instead of improving your English and rejection of bad habit?! What a bright idea!

Well, it's not exactly bad, your English...just on it's way to perfection:) Our points of view develop as well. By the time I put my first post in this topic I was a smoker. Now I'm not, so my viewpoint changed a little.

Exactly.
Smoking is not only detrimental to our body.
May also lead to liver cancer.
I think that the smoke is one of the drugs.
Young age, we'd better not touch what harmful things better.
