Disappointment

Postby Lucia » Mon Oct 31, 2011 1:27 pm

Hello all,

What do you think about disapointment? How to avoid it?
Maybe we expect too much sometimes that's why later we suffer when we don't get what we wanted.

disappointment is quite inevitable to humans. we dream big, we hope for the best, we succeed, and we also fail. the ups and downs are what keeps us alive because it proves we feel. avoiding disappointment is futile because its a part of us, it will happen to the best of us more than a handful of times in our lives. what we need to do is to learn to mourn our mistake then nurse back ourselves and learn from the failures that caused us disappointments. aiming higher and wanting more is what keeps us moving forward so there's nothing wrong about it. as long as we keep ourselves grounded, go for it!

It is apart of every human's life story cant ignore and avoid it. It is good to have disappointments in life so we could be grateful to ALLAH/God for what good things we have in life.

I think that if we don't have expectations it means we don't have any goals. As you all said disappointment is a normal part of our life. So maybe anybody of you has some special way to fight sadness after disappointment?

well, there are a couple of methods to avoid disappointment

1. Passioning in something. Personally, I think if we passion in a certain activity, we will remarkably forget disappointment and get back to our happy life.
2. Forcing to smile. Try to force yourself smile in at least 20 seconds per day. It's really work to me
3. Sleeping. It will make you more comfortable and relieved

“Disappointment to a noble soul is what cold water is to burning metal; it strengthens, tempers, intensifies, but never destroys it.”

My advice:
:ok: Stop caring about what other think.
:ok: Do not expect too much or nothing from people (it will hurt less).
:ok: Do your best.
:ok: Last but not least: Send people to Hell. That's it :lol:

Greetings =)
