Present Perfect Continous Tense

Post by JayJay »

Hello good evening,

I would like to improve my English,so i am studying on the different tenses. I finnally arrived at the Present Perfect Continous. This is for me a very difficult tense. I cannot figure out how i need to use this tense. I will explain.

When you are doing something at the moment, like reading. You could say.

Present Continous tense
I am reading since 2 o'clock.

or you could say.

Present Perfect Continous tense.
I have been reading since 2 o 'clock.

Could somebody explain when I should use which tense. Or are maybe both correct? Thank you in advance!
