Dear teacher,
Thank you for your reply to my previous question.
If the meeting is to be held next month; and I want to tell my boss that I will do the "scheduling work" of the meeting this Friday. What should I say?
(1) I will schedule the meeting for this Friday.
(2) I will schedule the meeting this Friday.
(3) others....?
Thanks.

#2 is possible, but unidiomatic.
--> I will decide the date of the meeting this Friday.
