"Forty" is the only number which has its letters in alphabetical order.

"One" is the only number with its letters in reverse alphabetical order.

"Rhythms" is the longest English word without the normal vowels, a, e, i, o, or u.

There is no word that rhymes with orange.

"Go." is the shortest complete sentence in the English language.

Of all the words in the English language, the word 'set ' has the most definitions!

Only 3 words in the English language end in "ceed": "proceed," "exceed," and "succeed."

It is always interesting to learn new things about the English language. I knew about go being the shortest sentence- you is the understood subject- I teach this all the time to my 7th graders and they are amazed.
