When one is communicating with an associate (about future meetings), and one states: "Lets meet on Thursday mornings".
I believe "On Thursday mornings" is a dependent clause. Is my assumption correct?
I understand that a dependent clause cannot stand alone. This is why this sentence confuses me greatly.
A second example to help clear things up is: "I need to ask questions because I don't get that"
I believe that "I need to ask questions" is a dependent clause and so is "I don't get that", "because" seems to be acting as a conjunction.
Any clarification, other example or correction would be great to clarify this topic for me.
