Guys,could you help me understand the difference in usage of would and will in a definite sententece ?
Example:
He knew his mind WOULD never again be free to romp like the mind of God?
Why should we use WOULD there?why not will?
would/will

He knows his mind WILL never again...
Usage of Would
He knows his mind WILL never again...
