Help Me Please

Post by Jaleel »

My teacher said that I had plagiarized this sentence "many large scale operation, deceptive strategy, and asymetrical warfare which could have only appeared during the warring states which Sun Bin lived in". However, the website he said I got it from http://www.chinahistoryforum.com/index. ... lly-exist/ I have never been to. I referenced that I used Michael Loewe's book Early Chinese Text: A Biographical Guide and summarized, but he does no believe me. I wanna know if this is plagiarism, if so how and what I should do in order to have him believe me?

How about simply footnoting the text in your paper?

Yes, it is plagiarism. You just copy/pasted the whole sentence word-to-word without a correct citation. Here is a screenshot from plag report.

Include a correct citation! And in future check quotes much more thoroughly!
