heard

Post by hanuman_2000 »

Hello Sir,

Please don't mind my asking the same again.

1. I heard someone singing outside.

The 'singing' here participle as suggested by you.

I would like to know whether the 'singing' is modifying something ( as an adjective form) or it is a verb denoting action.

According the definition, a participle can be an adjective and could be a verb also.

Please help me clear this doubts?
