Help me finding the mistake

Post by Angeluv »

Hello {-:

I should identify the mistake(s) in the following sentences but I I'm not sure if my solution is correct since I'm not a native speaker. The mistake has to do with grammar or vocabulary used incorrectly.

The sentences are:
1. "The society has changed a great deal in Britain over the last decades, becoming much more multicultural"
2. most young people make GCSEs at the age of 16

I'm not sure but I think there is no comma needed after "decades" in the first sentence, and in the second I would replace "make" with "pass" since "make" sounds wrong, but I don't know if "pass" works :~:

Thanks :)
