I won't elaborate in long way, I wanna say in short & sweet wards ..
1) initially we don't need any person, we can start up by talking ownself talk to yourself and reply in mind....
2) and start to think in English
3) Ask question to yourself and reply elaborately.
Thank you very much for sharing your tips to improuve our skills.Pirate wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2004 6:42 pmMy Australian teacher of English gave me a way to practise speaking at home, alone and I think it is important because Speaking is the skill that we find most difficult to self-practise.
1- Get a recorder.
2- Prepare a presentation on any topic u like.
3- Record your speaking.
4- Listen to it again and again.
You will find out your mistakes and weak points.
(You will find your voice very cute)
5- Do the 4 steps above whenever you have time.
Does your speaking get better?![]()

Yes am with you if we don t finf a partner is not the endPirate wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2005 12:08 amLadies and gentlemen, welcome on board!
Dear newbies, it's nice to see you wave hello, but I'd prefer a speech! Feel free to post here what you like to speak, then SPEAK IT OUT LOUD![]()
One tip for good speaking is TO SPEAK IT OUT LOUD! Don't let words lie in your head only. If you cannot find a partner, talk to yourself in the mirror. Let's see how long you can![]()

It's really a good site for english learners like me who want to
do well in english speaking.
It's a difficult for a non-native-speaker to talk to someone in english I think. Nearly 10 years have passed since I got to know this language. But unfortunately, I still can not open my mouth when I want to make a conversation to a foreigner. I just almost lose confidence.
I always admire him/her who speaks english fruently. How can he/she speak so well ?
And I find so many freinds right here with a warmly heart. And give us so many helpful tips&experience.
I CAN DO WELL WITH YOUR HELP.Thank U!
