Usage of myself

Post by Lucinka »

Hi,

I would really appreciate if you could help me, because I have been looking for the answer almost everywhere....
I think I know how to use myself in a sentence. I have found several examples, but what about myself in this phrase:

Endless pain of myself
Smashed brain of myself
The veins of myself

Shouldn't it be : endless pain of mine, brain of mine, veins of mine?
Thank you very much for your response.

Ok, one more example concerning "myself", please.

"Dark suns for myself"
Is this possible?
Thank you!

It might be possible, depending on exact context. In any case, poetic licence would almost certainly permit it. Otherwise, the "normal" form would be "Dark suns for me".
