Corrupt or Corrupted

Post by SaltySalt »

Hello everyone!

Can you please help with this:

Which one of the following is correct?

"Corrupt video files" OR "Corrupted video files"

Or are these synonyms and can be used both ways?

I would recommend:

as adjective
A corrupt file / The file is corrupt / Corrupt video files

as verb
The video files have been corrupted / The transfer has corrupted the files
