Do you pay for teaching resources?

I'm currently teaching in China, kindergarten level. I'm pretty new to this teaching career and as a newbie, sometimes its a pain in the a$$ finding good teaching materials. So I'm wondering, does many teachers pay for teaching materials? and from where?

Many teachers just teach students the knowledge from books in China.I follw them.
Because a teacher's salary is low, payment for teaching material will add more life burden.
