I was wondering whether this sentence was grammatically correct: I am cool and dance.
The act of being cool and the act of dancing are both verbs. The I (subject) carries over due to parallel structure. This sentence could also be written as: I am cool and I dance. Are either of these three statements incorrect? Please let me know.

The sentence is not exactly incorrect, at least informally. But it is not elegant.
The structure is NOT parallel as the two verbs are of different types: be is a linking verb; dance is a dynamic verb.
Better say:
I am cool and I dance.
Alternatively, and informally, this works better than the original and imposes less on the reader to predict the part-of-speech after "and":
I dance and am cool.
