Could one use
a. He loves an afternoon walk in the park and a good late night movie.
instead of
b. He loves afternoon walks in the park and good late night movies.
?
I am not sure (a) works. Doesn't it imply that the two things are somehow related?
Many thanks
an afternoon walk and a good movie

Re: an afternoon walk and a good movie
Either is acceptable with no significant difference in meaning.
