You are right. I did have plan to visit Thailand but my passport expired and recently there was a big scandal in which a Chinese actor was kidnapped and taken to Myanmar through Thailand. The result was that many Chinese potential tourists cancelled their outgoing plan and that the lady prime minister of Thailand ended up her visit to China with favorable conditions offered to ensure the safety of tourists a few days ago.
