hi, I am having a problem distinguishing if these verbs provide examples of a normal use of the indicative mood or subjunctive mood:
1 We were hoping you could come and have lunch with us.
2 Be that as it may, our expenditure is bound to increase.
3 We suggest that this applicant apply next year.
4 By the time we stopped, we had driven six hundred miles.
5 If I were feeling over-tired, I wouldn’t go on.
i think the last one is subjunctive but I'm not quite sure
thanks for any help

Re: indicative mood or subjunctive mood
Subjunctive verb-forms in these examples are: be, apply, were.
Others are indicative.
Others are indicative.
