At/in/on?

Post by Ali* »

Hi,

My question stems from an optional use of the at/in/on articles with the word "market". Sometimes it is "in the market" sometimes "on" or maybe "at". Would you please help understand a difference of meanings.

Thanking you in advance, Ali

In general, we use:

- at for a POINT
- in for an ENCLOSED SPACE
- on for a SURFACE
