Floor two

Post by Brahman » Mon Apr 23, 2018 8:54 pm

Dear teachers,

I was a hotel lift. When we arrived on the 2nd floor, the lift recorded message said, "Floor two".

I wonder whether it should be "2nd floor", instead.

Could someone tell me whether I am right?

Thank you.

Not a grammar issue, but...yes, "2nd floor' is the more normal expression.
