Hi, I was wondering if the sentence - Jump your enemies off guard is correct or not?
I've been able to find the meaning of "to jump someone" referring to taking someone by surprise, usually to attack.
So could such a sentence mean attacking someone from surprise?

The normal expression is “catch sby off guard”.
