Past tenses refering to planned actions in the future which were cancelled

Post by poczemuszka » Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:20 pm

Recently while surfing the Internert I've come across a very interesting grammar structure and I would like to ask whether it is correct. :-D The sentence was: "I had a meeting tomorrow" or something similar (it was a past tense refering to a cancelled future action).
Thank you in advance for your answer {-:
