for fumigation

Post by navit »

Are these correct:

1) They had to leave their house for fumigating.
2) They had to leave their house for fumigation.

3) I had to park my car in the garage for ploughing.
4) I had to park my car in the garage for snow removal.

They were clearing the snow in the street so I had to move my car into the garage.

Gratefully,

All grammatically possible, though semantically vague. 'For' would be better replaced by 'on account of/for the purpose of' etc.
