[are/were]

Post by ansonman »

I have made up the sentences below.

(1) Since 2010, I have played different types of sports, two of which are/were skydiving and figure skating.

(2) A few of the jobs I have ever had are/were accounting, engineering and computer programming.

Some of my non-native friends think "are" is correct. My other friends think "were" is correct. I am very confused by their answers. What is your opinion? Thanks.

Optional. (Re. (2): Note, however, that 'ever' is not natural here.)
