Can one use:
1) He was talking to a young man in college.
instead of:
2) He was talking to a young man who was in college.
(The conversation didn't necessarily take place in a college. The young man was a college student.)
Can one use:
3) He was talking to a boy in high school.
instead of:
4) He was talking to a boy in high school.
(The conversation didn't necessarily take place in a high school. The boy was a high school student.)
Gratefully,
Navi
