As far as I know, when two people have a very good relation, they can even share their underwears, though it is a little disgusting.

Gadgets depreciate after one year.
When you get older, you realise that the upgrades are not noticeable.
For example, a better camera. You won't recognise the quality of the photo and may not use it to the extent of its capabilities.
Screen, same again. You can't see the difference between a previous year model.
