The School of English is part of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University, one of Canada's oldest and most prestigious universities. The School has been in continuous operation since 1942.
Queen's School of English offers a variety of English courses for students of all levels.
Full-time programs include:
- 12-week English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
- Canadian English Experience (CEE)
QSoE also offers tailored programs for groups and institutions.
Students who study at Queen's School of English have access to all Queen’s facilities, including the libraries, the newly-constructed Queen’s University Arts and Recreation Centre, and Student Health Services, among others.
In addition to in-class learning, Queen's School of English offers supplemental socio-cultural activities that include films, sports, local excursions and university events.
We also offer optional trips to Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and Niagara Falls in which students are able to learn about Canadian culture.
