Intensive English Program Tuition & Fees

Courses are taught at five proficiency levels
Level 1 Beginning
Level 2 Low Intermediate
Level 3 Intermediate
Level 4 High Intermediate
Level 5 Advanced

Once your proficiency is determined, an adviser will meet with you to help you select your courses. ESL classes are normally 10 to 14 students. You may begin your work here at the start of any eight-week term. The program offers 25 hours of language instruction per week.

Reading and Discussion: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (M/Tu/W/Th)
Grammar and Writing: 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 a.m. (M/Tu/W/Th)
Listening and Speaking: 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (M/Tu/W/Th)

Elective Courses
Monday Chit-Chat: 12:20 - 1:20 p.m. (Monday)
Language Assistance Program: 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday)
IELTS Prep Course: 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. (Wednesday)

General English
Communicative English Courses: 7:45 - 9:00 p.m. (Monday & Wednesday)

Extracurricular Activities
- Trips are an opportunity to travel with other international students in the IEP to visit many different tourist sites.
- Acculturation Activities are centered around monthly themes to share American culture with international students each term.
- Game Nights are offered as a night to gather with other students and teachers for a night a games and fun outside of the academic classroom.
- English Table is an activity for anyone who wants to improve their English and meet other people. English Table dinners take place at different restaurants around the city and focus on speaking as much English as possible, socializing, and having fun.
- Movie Day Mondays are a way to relax after class with friends by watching a movie together.

Health Insurance
International students whose health insurance plans are not valid in the United States must purchase health and repatriation insurance plans that are valid in the United States. It is a requirement that students provide proof of insurance prior to registering for classes.
