a scheduled time when alcoholic drinks cost less than usual

For example

  • It's happy hour in our bar every night from five o'clock to seven o'clock.

  • If we miss happy hour, we'll have to pay full price for our drinks.

Note:
A "happy hour" may last for any length of time, not just an hour.
