- The manager isn't here right now, but he'll be back soon if you'd like to wait.
Another collocation with the same meaning is "just now". "Right now" and "just now" can only be used in present time. To talk about a particular moment in the past, you can use "then" or "just then" instead, as in "I couldn't talk just then".
