Meaning

immediately, or without delay

For example

  • Mum says you have to come home right now.

  • Stop what you're doing right now!

Note:
"Right now" can only be used in present time. If you want to talk about doing something immediately or without delay in the past or the future, use "right away" or "straight away" instead.
