Meaning

You can say this instead of "yes" if you're accepting a suggestion or granting permission.

For example

  • I said, "How about watching a movie?" and my wife said, "All right. That'd be nice."

  • "Can I go to Kim's place, Mum?"
    "All right, but be back in time for dinner."
