You can say this if you think what someone says is reasonable enough to accept or believe.

For example

  • I explained why I was quitting my job, and my boss said, "Fair enough. I guess you couldn't refuse an offer like that."

  • "If you don't want to protest, fair enough, but don't stop others from protesting."


This is typically used in British and Australian English but may be used in other varieties of English too.
