Meaning

You can use this to ask somebody about their progress in a task, a job, a project, etc.

For example

  • My boss came over while I was working on the design and said, "How's it going? Nearly finished?"

  • Whenever I see my brother, he says, "How're things going? Getting plenty of orders?"
