Meaning

You can say this when offering something to more than one person.

For example

  • I yelled, "Who wants some breakfast?" and kids came running from all directions.

  • "Who wants a lift? There's plenty of room in our car."

Note:

1. Can also be used as a rhetorical question to show you reject or don't want something, as in "Who wants people like that running the country? They're awful!"
2. Also "Who'd like...?" and "Would anyone like...?"
