Meaning

You can say this at any point in a sentence if you need time to think before going on.

For example

  • "What's it like singing in a choir?"
    "Well, it's like you're, you know, part of the music or something. It's hard to explain."

  • "Would you like to live forever?"
    "I guess so. But it's sort of, you know, scary or whatever. The thought of it never ending, I mean."
