Meaning

You can use this when telling someone something exciting or interesting.

For example

  • "You'll never guess who I bumped into at the supermarket!"
    "Who?"
    "Bob Whiteway! My geography teacher back in high school!"

  • "You'll never guess what happened to me on the way here!"
    "What?"
    "Some guy tried to steal my phone! Can you believe it?"

Note:
If someone says this, don't try to guess. Simply repeat the question word in the middle of the statement and let them tell you.
