If you're as quiet as a mouse, you're very quiet.

For example

  • I didn't hear you come in last night. You must have been as quiet as a mouse.

  • Nadia has been as quiet as a mouse in class since everyone laughed when she said the wrong thing.

Note:
"Quiet as a church mouse" is an older variation that is sometimes still heard.
