argue (verb): try to persuade (sby) with reason and evidence
fold (verb): bend (paper, cloth etc) over on itself (often to make it occupy less space)
airmail edition (noun): special version (newspaper, magazine etc) printed on very light, thin paper to be sent abroad by air
The Times (noun): name of a newspaper (which used to be large format and so more difficult to fold)
