This ebook lists almost all the one-word prepositions and most of the complex prepositions. Here’s what it contains:

Prepositions list of 150 English prepositions, including…

  • 94 one-word prepositions
  • 56 complex prepositions
  • 400 example sentences
  • 200 quiz questions, with answers
  • illustrations

Guarantee100% 60-day Money-Back Guarantee. We guarantee to refund your payment in full if you request a refund anytime within 60 days. No questions asked!

This ebook is not a “dictionary of prepositions” because it doesn’t give definitions, which you can find in any English/English or bilingual dictionary. What it does is to give you virtually all the English prepositions in one place and show you 400 examples of their use in context. It also tests your understanding with 200 quiz questions (answers supplied).

This English Prepositions List helped me with IELTS because I was weak with prepositions and wanted to understand how to use them better. The example sentences and pictures are a big help, and I did find the quizzes good for testing me. Thank you EnglishClub, I passed IELTS!

Actually I found this ebook perfectly reasonable and helped me with prepositions which we know are not easy to get right in the context. But the sentences help me and the quizzes and pics make me understand everything better.

I am preparing for my TOEFL. Since prepositions help us write natural sounding sentences, and that’s important for TOEFL, I need to know as much about them as possible. This book has added greatly to my knowledge and correct use of prepositions.

As a teacher of English as a foreign language, I find this book useful both in the classroom and for students studying at home. It lists practically all prepositions in use today. It gives example sentences for each preposition, and has some good exercises that let students practise and get a better understanding. The quizzes are useful for students at home but can also be printed for the classroom – which I do all the time now. It is well-organized, and the illustrations are really helpful in helping my students understand some of the prepositions.
