It is just about impossible for people not from the designated countries to teach English in ROK. I was told that we couldn't hire a PhD in English from the Philippines. The law is pretty rigid. On the other hand, she might be able to get a job teaching economics or finance. ~~~~

I am being considered for a position in Penang, Malaysia. I am concerned about the climate. I've never lived in the tropics before. How oppressive is it?
